The 10th Annual Captain’s Comics and Toys Expo is SC’s largest comic book and pop culture convention. Two full days of comics, toys, art, costuming, special guests, and more! Since 2015, Captain’s Comics has partnered with the Lowcountry Orphan Relief to raise money for their fantastic charity. This 501c organization provides clothing and basic necessities to children and teens who are displaced from their homes. They work with thousands of children each year to make the loss of a home an easier transition. The 501st Legion has been a HUGE help in allowing them to raise money for this great local organization.
The Carolina Garrison was given the entire stage to setup our large display of props and backdrops for photo ops. A grand total of $1200 was raised for the Lowcountry Orphan Relief. $247 of that total was raised at the Carolina Garrison booth. So glad to help a local charity.
