From the Event Organizer…
Reaching back out and having to apologize, the city ,because of the constant changing of the downtown dynamic, has changed the parade date to November 23rd. It will be a walking parade and Christmas themed.
It will now be a part of the official parade for Cabarrus county, which is exciting.
Please let me know, if possible, by the second week in October who all would be interested in walking in this event for cabarrus county as we have to pay a fee before the 31st to be in the event.
The length of the parade is around 2 miles, but at a slow pace, and attendance is around 10-15k.
Also, no blasters are allowed. Only lightsabers.
There are no confirmed sign ups so this even will be closed to registration (the organizer need to pay this week for our entrants).
