You have to go under your profile and enter your costumes for them to populate in the drop down box :)

Hey @bobafett4ever ,Meg Devereux is wanting to sign up for this as well but having issues since she’s just Rebel Legion. Her username is @sewmuchlife . Anything you or Keith know that would help fix that?
Has she added at least one costume under her profile so she can sign up for an event? Otherwise, the drop down box will be blank.
If she has, what exactly is the issue she’s having when trying to sign up?

I figured it out! Not sure if I got counted among that initial six or not, but I can make it if it’s allowed.

Hey there @barrisetisa! You should be able to add yourself to events above the comments section! Just make sure you have a costume listed in your profile, otherwise It will only allow you to list yourself as a “handler”

As this event is allowing 6 troops+ 1 handler to sign up, we turned sign ups off but there appears to be a bug that folks can still sign up.
@krfett Keith is aware of this and will work to fix the bug.
Unfortunately, I’m going to have to remove those that signed up after the fact. I apologize for this but the event cannot hold more that the requested amount.
Also, the last person to sign up actually noted in the comments section they wanted to sign up but was having an issue. By the time we got it fixed, more had signed up.
All this to say, we’re trying to do this fairly. Please understand the intention. Thanks for understanding.

Matt talked to the hospital today and Vader is a must, so it’s been increased to 7 so that James can come as Vader
My friend just asked me if we could do a wedding on this day in Greeneville. I know this isn’t something we officially do, but I wanted to ask as a favor to him since you will already have the suits out and ready to go. I am in Myrtle, so I told him I would ask the Greeneville folks. I will be there with R2 (and at the hospital)
Hey @fryguy so are you asking the people here in this comment section if we would also do the wedding? Or have you asked people in Greenville through other means? Because sometimes these comments get missed so people singed up for this event may miss them.
I’m just now hearing of this from your comment, but I will say that for me personally doing two troops in one day would be quite draining. Especially with how emotionally draining the hospital will be and then physically draining the wedding would be. So I will not be doing both.
Also as a heads up, as @bobafett4ever noted in the comments the hospital visit is currently full. You are welcome to attend if more space opens up though and people will be notified accordingly if it does!
Yes to all of that. I know 2 troops in one day is tough. If the wedding was here in Myrtle, I would just reach out to our local team, but since it is in Greeneville I was hoping somebody up there would see it. Since it isn’t an official troop, I didn’t want to put it in the events section- though they said they would make a donation to Make-a-wish.
I also saw that the hospital visit was full, but sometimes people make an exception for R2 to show up. This one wasn’t even on my radar until my friend asked about the wedding yesterday. Now it looks like I will be in there area so I figured I would throw it out there.
Gotcha! Totally agree that it’s worth an ask to have people come out to the wedding if they are up to it!
I just know that there’s more troopers in the Greenville area then are signed up for this (because of space) who may miss you asking. So you might have more luck asking on the Facebook group because more people are likely to see it!
As for making an exception for R2, I’ll leave that up to @mcohen10835 to ask the hospital since he is POC! I’ll shoot him a reminder message after the holidays as well incase he misses this!
The droid from last visit was a big hit so I hope that they would allow that!
Of course love to see all the support members have for these visits and wish everyone could come make these children’s day! I know next time we’re invited back, I’ll step back so another person who hasn’t done it can take my place.
But I’ve already done a lot of prep work with gathering the toys to give out for this visit so I’d like to see it through
