FYI…I have a request in with the FVPD to clarify if Blasters will be approved for use or not. I was speaking with an officer about this a few weeks ago and he did not see a problem being they were props. We are going to clear it with the FVPD first. They were fine with the previous event we did in downtown FV, but wanted to clear it and gain the approval.
Captain Smith with the FVPD responded that props (Blasters and Lightsabers) are approved for the parade. He was excited to see us participating in the parade as well! Let’s bring a big crowd of 501st representation!
Parade starts at 4:00 PM…meet up will most likely be and hour beforehand at FV Middle School…stand by for more details as we get closer to the event. 😎

Considering I live in Fuquay-Varina I’ll definitely be there as Revan.
Update…meet up time is 2:45-3:00 PM at Fuquay Varina Middle School. We will be in the same parking lot as the WSHS Band to change and get ready for the parade.
Another update…let’s plan to meet at 2:30 to allow for plenty of time for suiting up.
Here is the parade map for the FV Holiday Parade. We are meeting at the FV Middle School parking lot off N. Ennis St. I would actually plan to meet now at 2:00 PM as they would like to have us suited up and in our parade spot by 3:00-3:15.
