Description:
Members of the 501st Legion from across North and South Carolina showed up to support “Angels Among Us” – an annual fund raiser for the Duke Cancer Center – While no blasters were fired we helped battle cancer in our own little way.
There was a children’s area, a main stage, and multiple tents for vendors and the various departments at the Duke Cancer center. There was a 5k race followed by several on stage performances. The troop ended with a cancer walk through the Duke Cancer Center campus and in the the Gardens area.
