AI now that is a good question. As most everyone knows I am dyslexic and have issues reading and typing and spelling. But I do use AI to read messages and to help with spellcheck but nothing else. Also as most of my friends know I prefer to talk on the phone or in person. But I do agree that AI is a good tool when used properly butit does loose personality when you use AI. As for speaking with Troopers I don’t feel that the use of AI is necessary and I would prefer again to talk one on one.

Oh my I have brought in a bunch of events and I have a lot of new ones coming in as well as bringing back events that have been lost because of bad behavior or people not showing up and me working to get them back. Like Victory Junction camp. I will be posting that one soon or getting us back at Old Salem for Halloween, Fear at the Fort the NC Zoo in Asheboro, photoshoots at different locations, the Light the Night event that got going because my Son Mitch who was battling cancer and I wanted to find a way to help more so I talked to them about setting up a event and the rest is history. Getting the Ronald McDonald house back a couple upcoming blood drives. But I also have to say that getting events can be done by anyone and that being Squad Leader is helping other with events and more. I want to encourage every Trooper to reach out in there community and try to get events that they are passionate about. And when you need help setting them up call me I am here to help.

So for me I have had this happen more then once in 11 years and I am not afraid to admit it. One time my wife drove 3 hours both ways to get back less then 10 mins before the event started because I was missing a part on my Vader rig. I can say that it had me a bit worried. But we cannot control everything and mistakes happen. I can say that it depends on the event and what character I am and what part is missing. I have sat out a event and become a handler because of forgetting a part of my costume and realizing it to late to get the part. But I have also had parts break while at a event like my one of my knee plates broke in my RC at a baseball game. I called it battle damage and trooped on until I got a break and fixed it. I believe that staying calm and realizing that you can’t fix it make a decision on what to do and what support you have at that moment is key. Am I going to troop or be a handler make up your mind and follow through. Thank you for your question and your time.

Thank you for the question and it is a good one. The primary job of the Squad Leader is to be a event coordinator and a voice for the Squad. It is to also bring new events to the Squad but to also encourage other Troopers to reach out within there community and try to get events and when they have questions be there to answer them. This is a team effort and I want more Troopers to be involved in getting events. I will also go live and talk with the Squad and take questions like I did when I was CO. But also to help new recruits coming into the Squad. I will also work with MBO to bring Squad merch to the table and look forward to bringing everyone together. If it is a Christmas Party or a photoshoot I am here to help. I here to help and have a wealth of knowledge to share. I also want to have build parties and teach new people my techniques and I never charge a thing for helping. I want to inspire other members to do the same. Every Trooper has something to give and I want to help them find there potential. Again thank you for you questions and if you ever need anything or have any ideas please reach out.

My expectations are simple treat everyone with respect and kindness. Leave everything at the door. When we are in costume remember that what we say and do in public reflects not only on yourself but also the Garrison, Legion and LFL. We are ambassadors of Star Wars. That does not mean that we can’t have fun we just need to make sure that what we say and do is not misunderstood or taken out of context. I don’t want to have a childs first experience to be a trooper cussing or acting inappropriately. We have had new troopers join because they have had a positive interaction with us or there kids have had positive interaction with us. But it has also gone the other way. The best way to deal with someone that is not acting appropriately it to try to get there attention and move them out of the public eye with someone else. Preferably with a command staff member and talk to them. If that does not work communication with command staff is key. Bring as much information to Command Staff as possible. Thank you for the question please feel free to follow up.
