  1. I plan to be there all day Saturday and Sunday! I’ll also be there after work Friday and then Thursday to help with set up

    Please wait...
  2. I’ll be there the entire time and will set up/take down.

    Please wait...
  3. BTW, that “Character limit” of 10 should be unlimited. We can have as many troopers as want to attend, there just won’t be enough free passes for everyone

    Please wait...
  4. I signed up as interested for Saturday as Vader
There is another Vader already signed up. I can split like other years, or I can just wear my crewman, or gunner as alternative. Couldn’t add extra options on the calendar
My 7yo daughter will attend as well like the other years, hopefully (finished) with her TIE pilot

Also my friend and his Chewbacca will be attending. I am asking in advance if he can use our changing area like in the last couple of years? This is him:

  6. Hello Everyone! Here’s a sign up sheet! Please put down your name/costume for which times/days you intend to be in costume or at the table or handling!

This is especially important for face characters as we have a couple characters with multiple people signed up so we need to split that into shifts.

Looking forward to seeing everyone at HeroesCon this year!

  7. To provide some clarification regarding the distribution of complimentary tickets for this year’s event. Unfortunately, we have only been allocated 10 free tickets. Given this limited number, priority will be given to individuals who are contributing the most time, with particular consideration for those volunteering across all event days, rather than for single-day commitments.

To ensure a fair and transparent distribution process, it is essential that we have accurate and up-to-date sign-up information. With any event, complimentary tickets are not guaranteed for conventions, and we believe this approach allows us to allocate them as equitably as possible under the circumstances.

  8. Due to the limited tickets, my wife and I can no longer attend as we can’t afford the cost to buy tickets.

  9. I’ll be there for all 3 days. I will also be there for load in and setup on Thursday (I believe they open around Noon for starting to load in), and I will be ther Sunday after the con to assist with all load outs.

I listed Vader for all 3 days, but I’m planning to wrangle on Friday, maybe do Grievous on Saturday as well as wrangle/booth, and Vader on Sunday, again with wrangling/booth as needed.

  10. Also, can we pin the sign-up sheet to the top of the thread? It would help finding it! :)

    1. Updating: We had some people buy tickets so there was no need for a random selection. Members who are receiving tickets have been notified and all tickets are spoken for. Looking forward to having everyone!

  11. I wanted to provide a brief update on the ticket allocation process to ensure transparency and keep everyone informed.

As previously mentioned, ticket distribution is being prioritized based on the level of commitment. The current order of allocation is:
    1. Those attending the full weekend including setup and teardown
    2. Those attending the full weekend
    3. Those committed to two days

After reviewing the sign-up list, I’ve allocated tickets to those attending all three days. However at this stage, the number of individuals signed up for two days exceeds the number of tickets remaining.

To ensure a fair and impartial distribution of the remaining tickets, I will be using a random selection process this weekend for those in the two-day category and will be documenting it.

Thank you all for your understanding.

  12. I will be there Saturday. Not sure what time I’ll get there and I’m happy to hang out at the table and hang around in costume. We already have our own tickets so I won’t need a pass

  13. A HUGE THANKS to everyone coming to HeroesCon (and a huge thanks to the planning team who has carried this thing, especially Eric. :D!). A quick fun note–one thing we will be doing at the con, for any members that would like to participate, is an event called the “Search Party” (for anyone that’s ever participated in, or heard of, the Droid Hunt, this is sort of a reverse from that). Con attendees can come by our table all day Friday to pick up a Search Party sheet, then go in search of our characters roaming the con to get their “mark” (writing down your TKID, making a simple check mark, etc). The sheets have drawings of individual characters–stormtroopers, biker scouts, bounty hunters, etc–and participating members can mark their character on the sheet. Once con attendees who are playing have collected all the signatures, they turn in their sheets at the 501st table for a raffle ticket to win a prize– we do the drawing at 5:01 pm on Saturday. You certainly are not obligated to play, but it’s been a lot of fun in years past!

For those who DO want to play (it’s just on Saturday), if you’ll let me know your interest and which costume you’ll have, I can complete the Search Party sheets.

Thanks again, everyone–I’m looking forward to seeing familiar faces and meeting new ones!
