Are you all signing up through Mandos or do you have 501st costumes? These slots are for 501st, so please sign up through Mandos to leave slots open for 501st costumes. Also handlers need to sign up for the forums and list themselves as a handler please
I was told by the guys in Charleston to let them know I was coming so I sign up here too and yes I’m signed up on the mando side of things you all don’t want me to sign up here I will not.
I am just trying to avoid duplicate signups. Since spots are limited, we’d like as many people as want to go to be able to sign up. If you are signed up on the Mandos, then there is no need to sign up here as well. I will coordinate with Rebel Legion and Mandos to make sure all names get sent over to the stingrays. Thanks

Respectfully, It was to my understanding that Rebel Legion and Mandos and the other clubs can use our sites sign up feature too as well as signing up one their respective sites. Thats why if you’re in other clubs you can add that to your profile. If they sign up and the costume they put down is of a rebel or Mando, then you can tell they are representing that respective club and not “taking up a spot for 501stâ€. It personally helps me know who’s attending from the other clubs when coordinating events because it can be confusing to hop between the Rebels forums (which I actually don’t have access too since I’m not in the club) and Mercs forum.
While I understand wanting to avoid issues with duplication, if it is open invite to all clubs then we shouldn’t dismiss someone from communicating about signing up. Rather things be over communicated then under communicated. I think that you mean well but it does slightly come across as gate keeping
@coolajxl My apologies if I have upset you. I am not trying to be a gatekeeper. We have a process and I do personally coordinate with the other groups to make sure that we have a complete list of people who are participating to provide to the organizers. Since the slots are limited, we divide those slots among the groups and each group tracks their own participants. We then coordinate and share the information and send one email to the organizer including all participants from all groups.
We are in the process of creating a joint sign up site that all groups can use and we will no longer have to split the numbers, but that is not yet operational and therefore we split them among the boards. In order to ensure that we can have as much participation as possible, we are currently asking all members to sign up with the organization that their costume is registered with. Since these are LFL events, all costumes must be approved costumes and there is not an easy way for the 501st to verify that you have an approved MM or RL costume. Signing up through your organizations forums verifies that you are signing up with an approved costume and allows us to not violate any of LFL’s regulations.
This process is not intended to make things more difficult for members, but simply to ensure that we are following the rules that LFL has put forth for us. Please feel free to PM me if you have further questions or concerns that I may be able to address. I hope this clears up an misunderstandings.

I believe you have to remove yourself from interested and add yourself as attending. Also, Kelley will have to create an account and sign up as a handler. We can’t really add people manually anymore

Tell those on the waiting list to sign up. Rebel Legion has zero signups so we can have their spots. We have 24 now
Rebel Legion just gave us their slots since no one signed up from their group. We now have 24 spots so anyone who was on backup feel free to sign up
@vaidadude – If you decide to confirm and attend the event, Monica asked me to tell you to sign up on the Rebel Legion site so that you can get credit for the troop. She closed signups, but she said that you should comment on their site that you signed up on the Carolina Garrison site. Let me know if you have any questions.

I decided R2 would be too much for this one. I know there are a lot of up and down stairs and elevators so I am only bringing TIE
