      Attention Troopers:

We want to remind everyone of a key principle within our organization: we are here to promote positivity, camaraderie, and respect, both within the Garrison and in our interactions with other LFL clubs and the public.

It is not our place to tell other LFL clubs, fellow Garrison members, or cosplayers from the public how they should operate in their costumes. This includes:

      – How they stand or pose
      – When or where they choose to wear their helmets
      – The appearance of 3D print lines
      – Which costume they choose to wear, unless they are portraying a face character like Darth Vader or Boba Fett, where specific guidelines must be followed.
      – Blaster Safety: Members should never point blasters at anyone, including other members, even if requested for a photo.

      Unsolicited Costume Criticism:
Do not offer unsolicited costume criticism, even if your intention is to help. Unsolicited feedback can often come across as gatekeeping, especially with members of the public. Let’s be respectful of everyone’s choices and creativity, ensuring a welcoming environment for all.

      Profanity and Mic Volume:
The only exception where unsolicited feedback is appropriate is if someone’s microphone is too loud or they are using profanity. In these cases, addressing the issue promptly is necessary to maintain our professional and family-friendly image.

If a fellow member is not meeting the basic CRL (Costume Reference Library) standards, help them respectfully. We are all here to improve together, and a little kindness goes a long way.

Let’s continue to celebrate the creativity and individuality of each member, supporting one another while focusing on the bigger picture: bringing joy to those who love Star Wars and maintaining the integrity of the Garrison.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
