SUMMARY:Time Travelers’ Weekend - Carolina Renfest
DESCRIPTION:You don’t need a passport to Time Travel to the 16th Century! Come as you are or dress as your favorite time traveling character inspired by movies, TV, comic books, science fiction and/or fantasy - all costume genres welcome!  Costume Contest.   Book Signings and much more.

This ticketed event was reviewed/approved by an LEC.  Our booth must be outside the ticketed area and they may not advertise us being there.

TICKETS:  To receive a ticket, you must reach out to Ramon Santiago and complete the paperwork he has.  This MUST BE DONE by 9/30/24.  If you are buying your own ticket, you do not need to complete the paperwork.

CHARITY:  Carolina Renfest is collecting school supplies this year. This is benefitting Classroom Central. Classroom Central is a provider of supplies to hundreds of underfunded schools across the region.
9 most needed items: Pencils, Crayons, Markers, Highlighters, Dry Erase Markers, Composition Books, Filler Paper, Notebooks and Pocket Folders.

20 slots total.  If other groups don't use theirs, we may get more.

Gates Open at 9:30 AM.  Can arrive between 8:30 and 9 to suit up.  Ramon may need help setting up and tearing down, so please let him know if you can help.

NOTES & CON/FAIRE PROTOCOLS:
-PLEASE NO FOOD OR DRINK near backdrops, member costumes, props & booth tables to avoid damages. Bottled water ONLY.
-If you don't plan on buying food or drinks at the con, we suggest you pack your own as it will not be provided by the event.
-Consuming alcoholic beverages while working the booth in or out of costume is STRICTLY PROHIBITED per LFL standards.
-All troopers signed up on the forums will need to spend a 2-hour minimum in costume and/or help manning table. Leaving the booth in costume does not count within those 2 hours.
-If you decide to leave the booth while on duty, please inform fellow members so they can cover your spot.
-Members in attendance are responsible for their own costumes, props and children they bring. Children are to be supervised at all times.
-To troop the event and get credit for it, you must do so in an APPROVED costume. Any costumes in progress must have written approval by Command Staff sent to the Garrison POC for this event.
-Govern yourself professionally and be courteous to all costume members & attendees.  Be mindful of your language in front of guests.  Do not hold conversations with fellow members in front of the table space.
-Please be mindful and do not stand in front of table space, entry ways or exits.
