DESCRIPTION:We are one of 35 locations chosen across the state to be an official Statewide Star Party location. Our event is FREE to the public as part of the NC SciFest. 

During the event we will be doing a series of hands-on science activities, including an egg drop down the museum stairwell, and live star viewing (weather permitting) in our garden behind the building. Inviting visitors from outer space really helps the visitors immerse themselves in the space theme. We have had your group at two previous Star Parties and y'all were a highlight of the event.
