DESCRIPTION:This annual event is a signature event of the NC Science Festival. There are ~35 star parties held statewide. Our Star Party at Carolina Beach State Park is the largest in the state. This event is a FREE, fun-filled evening of stargazing and astronomy-themed activities. There are guided skywatching sessions, telescope and binocular viewings, stargazing tips from the experts, the Stellar Story Corner, and so much more.
