SUMMARY:Relay For Life of the Triangle
DESCRIPTION:Relay For Life of the Triangle will be held at Fenton in Cary on April 6th. Relay For Life is the world's largest volunteer-based fundraising event. We are so excited to bring a new and different 2024 Relay For Life of the Triangle experience. Traditionally held at the afternoon and evening, this Relay will held in the morning (starting at 8:30 am) at the beautiful Fenton space and have a new element- the 1st Annual Relay For Ribbons 5K!
At Relay For Life you'll find community members taking turns walking around Fenton lined with luminaria bags. You'll have the opportunity to cheer for local survivors (or participate as a survivor) in our first lap of the day. Caregivers of cancer patients (currently or previously diagnosed) will then be invited to join the Survivors. Local entertainers will keep you energized. We will light the luminaria bags surrounding the walk route in a memorable luminaria ceremony in a darkened theater inside Paragon Theatre. Brian Shrader from WRAL will serve as emcee.

If inclined, we would love to see a group form a team! We have many teams registered so far in helping to fund research that will save future lives. 
The process is simple:
1. Sign up for relay here (Chris Casino can send you the email with the actual link)
2. Recruit co-workers, family, and friends 
3. Raise money 
4. Come out and celebrate us with at Fenton on April 6th.  
Once you identify a team captain, staff partner Ashley Wickline or I would be happy to walk them through the process.
