DESCRIPTION:My wife and I put on this race in memory of our nine year old son Peyton. He passed away in 2013. This will be our tenth year putting on the race. We have raised over $200,000 for local charities. Our race sells out in minutes each year and has a national sponsor (Altra Running Shoes). Our son loved Star Wars and having you guys out in 2023 was a highlight for many of our runners and spectators. We would love to make a donation to one of your charities as a thank you for being part of our race. The race is all day 8am to 6pm, so you could come and hangout with us anytime. Awards are at 3:30pm and 5:30pm so those would be great times as well.
