DESCRIPTION:The NC Museum of Natural Sciences will celebrate Star Wars Day. Museum research staff and educators will deliver presentations in the Daily Planet Theater relating Star Wars to real world science and science inspired by Star Wars. Some of the hands-on spaces will offer special activities for visitors.
Costumed attendees would be available in the Nature Research Center atrium for photographs and visitor engagement. The atrium can accommodate several costumed attendees and any set pieces you may be interested to bring as well. The area can be roped off to form queues or allow free-flowing movement.
The first presentation will likely begin at 11am and the final presentation ends at 2:30. The museum is open from 10am-5pm. Costumed attendees could participate for the whole event time or a part of that time, e.g. 11am-1pm.
