DESCRIPTION:Since 2017, Lowcountry Bald - Charleston SC's baldest head-saving event - has raised $315,000 and shaved 175 heads.

The main event happens in a good sized barber shop but also on the Main Street in town.

We are not asking the 501st to shave, but make the event more fun and promote the 501st. They are more than welcome to.

A little more info on the national foundation.
What started as a challenge between three friends in 2000 has grown into the world’s largest charity funder of childhood cancer research grants. Since then, volunteers have held more than 16,663 events and more than 630,454 shaves have taken place to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer. The foundation has funded more than $354 million in childhood specific cancer research over the last 25 years.
The St. Baldrick’s Foundation partners with many other non-profit organizations to raise funds, increase awareness and advocate on behalf of kids with cancer.

As for the event, we would love to have any and all Star Wars characters, up to 6, good guys and the bad guys. What we normally do is have them around for opening ceremonies and escorting our honored kids and family along with just general interaction with the people there. In the barbershop and along the Main Street.
They have always been a huge hit for any St Baldricks’ event, we love them.
