DESCRIPTION:Walk-n-Roll is a community walk but more primarily a block party style celebration for those impacted by spinal muscular atrophy. this event brings together folks in the charlotte area who have SMA, who care about someone with SMA or who lost someone who had SMA. This event has donated snacks, games, crafts and a DJ. This occurs before our ceremonial Walk-n-Roll kicks off (closer to 1 mile walk / roll for our participants. Many folks impacted by SMA utilize mobility assistive devices such as wheelchairs/ walkers.
