The Charleston City Market is organizing its annual tree lighting event on Friday, December 5th, as part of the Night Market. Some years ago the Troopers showed up for the event and it was wonderful.   Our theme this year is centered around Buddy the Elf, and we intend to create a festive atmosphere with snow. We hope to recreate the enchantment of past Christmas celebrations and offer an evening photo opportunity featuring cherished characters from previous years, including Storm Troopers and other Star wars characters, Chewy was a big hit. I have A short video highlighting Christmas celebrations from past. If you choose to participate, we would be love to mention your involvement in our press releases. Palmetto Carriage will be providing a horse-drawn carriage for the event. We invite any additional suggestions or proposals for participation you may have.
