DESCRIPTION:Breakthrough T1D, formerly JDRF, is a leading organization rooted in Type 1 Diabetes research and advocacy to develop a cure for this 24/7 disease. This is a COMMUNITY Fundraising Walk put on by community volunteers touched by this chronic disease. Type 1 is diagnosed at any age. Our youngest little guy involved with our T1D community is 2 and we have members who are over 70. Although this is a fundraiser for Breakthrough T1D it is more of a community and uplifting event as we bring smiles to those struggling with this help condition and hope that for an eventual cure. Last year was successful and we hope to grow this event in 2024. Your involvement would be an honor.
