DESCRIPTION:Since 1987, our unique, local charity has touched the lives of over 4,200 children with special healthcare needs in our community by providing more than 4.7 million dollars of life enhancing and life sustaining medical care/supplies, therapy, equipment and out of town lodging for treatment because our supporters believe in our work.

Our 2025 care • give • run® 5K Partial Trail Run & Family Fun Walk has been scheduled for Saturday, September 27th at Palmetto Islands County Park. This is our 22nd Annual event and 2nd largest fundraiser. Monies raised through our Run/Walk will support our mission and allow CCC to continue to be an invaluable resource in our community. Through our grants, the Charity provides families with what they need daily to ensure that their child or children can reach optimal health and development. Our fundraiser takes place in this nature-oriented park built in a tropical setting with boardwalks, trails, open meadows, Nature Island and more. 

Our 5K Course is USATF Certified. The 5K is open to runners and fast walkers. The Family Fun Walk will take place through the park using a uniquely designed course.  As always, this event will be packed full of fun activities for the entire family. We will have live music, food, vendors, a jump castle, fun and games, mascot appearances and much more. This year’s event will also feature an 80’s theme.
